    "Boycie, my 8 year old Lab/Collie cross, is, as Helen confirmed, a complex character. Nothing is known of his background, but whatever it was it unbalanced him in many ways. Boycie usually stays with my parents while I am away, but unfortunately on this occasion I had to search out a carer - fortunately Helen was recommended to me. Much to my delight Boycie took to Helen immediately and jumped straight into her vehicle. His stay with Helen was not uneventful and there were problems due to his character, but with her experience, care and patience Helen brought him back to me after 6 days a very happy dog. If Helen can stand it, I hope she will be able to look after Boycie on other occasions. I highly recommend Helen to other dog owners."

    "The very first time Helen came to our house, we knew that we could trust her to care for the two most precious creatures we have ever owned, our two poodles – Beau and Kizzy. Beau is ten years old and naturally has adopted a character all of his own – he wants his own way – sometimes he can be exceedingly obstinate with people he does not know or care about but the minute he met Helen his tail started to wag and he was butter in her hands. Kizzy on the other hand is six years old, very skittish and feminine and wants to play all the time. Helen calmed her down in minutes. We have no worries whatsoever when our two dogs are with Helen and we are confident that their safety is uppermost in her mind when they are in her care."

We have complete trust in Helen as she looks after our cats well, gives us a full report on how they've been and makes suggestions on their diet and welfare, and knowing Helen is looking after them gives us peace of mind and means we can go away without worrying. Without Helen we would have to consider putting Moo & Cody in a cattery which we would not be happy doing, they really benefit from staying at home where they are happy & relaxed. As well as this Helen is always only a phone call away and was very supportive and comforting when one of other cats, Maggie, died.     "Helen has been invaluable to our family since Max (aged 8 weeks) joined us in October 2007. Max was quite a handful when we first got him, but Helen quickly assured us that all his behaviour was normal and he soon settled down.
