Are you a Veterinary Practice tired of exstorsionate agency fees and irritated by their never ending paperwork, when all you need is cover?
We have a Qualified Veterinary Nurse with 18 years experience in all manner of nursing and reception duties who has knowledge of Vetcom, Vetcom Windows, Rx Works, Jupiter, Teleos and can soon pick up any other IT system not used before. She is professional, adaptable, presentable and has excellent public relation skills not to mention experience in many different practice environments.
Helen started her nursing career in 1991 at the age of 16, she started practice life as a Saturday girl in a mixed country practice and went on to train as a Veterinary Nurse. She has worked in large animal and equine over the years, but progressed in the direction of emergency and critical care for small animals namely cats and dogs. Helen never got disillusioned or turned off, like many nurses have along the path of this profession and has only ever nursed. Today she devotes her entire life to helping practices and clients and has made Paws In Daws a name to depend on and trust. Whilst continuing to work in practice, she runs Paws In Daws providing 24/7 support to whoever is in need of help. It has proved to be a great success and many comment on her ability to do so much and so well.
All Helen wants is to unite forces with practices to provide a better service, there is no great profit or need to compete for business. 'It's all about quality of service at the end of the day' she says 'I get so annoyed at people who slate the Veterinary profession, the majority of us just want to do what we trained to do. Improve quality of life and/or eleviate suffering'. There is no better feeling than to help somebody or see a sick patient recover and go home happy' and now I get to do both' seven days a week, 24/7 in both environments.'
Practices however well organised always need staff and these days locum agencies are very hit and miss. If you had a nurse or receptionist phone in sick on the morning of a shift, you couldn't guarantee that you would get that shift covered without alot of inconvienence and stress. The point of the Paws Nurse is that you phone her direct and if shes available, she can come straight in and get to work.
So if you are interested in having the same friendly, reliable and trustworthy locum everytime you need a shift covered, why not register your practice and book a Meet & Greet?
There are no fees, contracts or hidden expenses, you purely pay an agreed fixed hourly rate plus mileage to and from your practice. There are no set hours, you decide how long you need our nurse for and she accommadates your own individual requirements. She will wear her own plain green scrub top uniform or one you supply and for the time she is at your practice represent your practice as a member of your staff. It really is that simple, so go on register today and prepare for tomorrow.
