Paws in Daws Testimonials.

Paws In Daws receives a lot of feedback on the services we provide, obviously we cannot post every one of the testimonials received as we have over 200 clients and many practices on our books, but please find below a few examples of our members kind words and thoughts:

"We are very pleased with the service we received from Helen regarding the Sureflap Microchip Catflap. After giving us detailed information on the cat flap and setting it up, we asked her to microchip two of our cats without chips and once the flap was installed, all our cats were able to use the flap together easily and we are now so pleased that we can secure their future and keep out all intruders. "Due to a change in our family circumstances for the first time ever we had to find a pet sitter to look after our six Cavalier King Charles Spaniels whilst we were away on holiday. After meeting and talking to Helen on her introductory visit she reassured us with her veterinary skills and experience they would be fine . When we returned from holiday all six were very happy, contented and groomed and the house was clean and tidy. We are confident that our dogs enjoyed being in Helens care. So thank you Helen for your wonderful service and a very big thank you from Lydia, Dudley, Prudence, Siana, Keira and Josie."

"We cannot give Helen high enough praise for her Paws Nanny Sitting Service. Her application of technical knowledge, organisation and obvious enjoyment in her work is outstanding. Both our dogs were so very happy and contented when we returned from our two week holiday and the house was spotless."

"Helen has been invaluable to our family since Max (aged 8 weeks) joined us in October 2007. Max was quite a handful when we first got him, but Helen quickly assured us that all his behaviour was normal and he soon settled down. Helen has enabled me to go to work knowing that she will visit Max and give him all the attention and training (!) he needs. Helen is reliable and thoroughly trustworthy. She is one of Max’s best friends and he loves her. I know that I can happily leave Max in Helen’s care and know that he is well cared for. Helen is also valuable source of knowledge whenever I have any worries about Max. I have recommended her to other dog owners whom have now added to her client list. We would be lost without Helen."

"We met Helen last year when we needed holiday cover for our two dogs, “Bill and Henry”. From the outset Helen was very professional but also kind and loving to the boys and they plainly had a very good time out with her every day. This included a doggy picnic, visits to a doggy café, lovely walks and lots of fun and attention! We will certainly call on Helen’s services again and would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with their pets. Helen provides peace of mind."

"Helen is marvellous with my cats, even Libby, my huge British Shorthair, whom most people are too scared to handle or groom.  Libby is very scary when she’s frightened, having had a bad few years with her first owner, and she can be extremely feisty.  But Helen is so good with my precious girl - kind, patient, and efficient, and when Helen leaves, Libby immediately gets on my lap and purrs like a huge rumbling engine, not the least bit perturbed by “her visitor”.  I’m happy to trust all my 5 cats to Helen’s care when I’m away, knowing that they’re safe in her hands, and cared for in the way I ask, and the way they’re used to".

"Helen has looked after Meg (Irish Terrier) for us since she was a puppy and has always provided first class care—Meg absolutely adores both Helen and her own dogs. She has cared for Meg both on an adhoc basis when we have been out for the day and over longer holidays and has always left a happy dog and an immaculate house behind. Helen has also helped with Meg’s obedience training which has been invaluable and her advice on feeding and health has been much appreciated (she diagnosed an ear problem which we were able to treat much quicker than we might have done otherwise). I would recommend Helen to any pet owner – she is 100% dependable and a lovely person to deal with".

"Paws In Daws was recommended by my vet when our labrador Hugh was suddenly taken ill one evening.  Helen arrived and took Hugh and myself over to the emergency vet in Sevenoaks for our out of hours appointment. We will always be grateful to Helen for her kindness and her professional expertise.  Not only that but Hugh loves her!  He is now fully recovered and living life to the full"

"The response our one year old dog, Otis, gives Helen, whenever he sees her is evidence in itself of the special relationship she has with him.  We have used Helen for various Otis-related services since he was eight weeks old and he clearly adores her.  Otis is always happy and healthy upon our return from holiday. Helen’s own two dogs are now known playmates to Otis and upon her arrival at our house he runs out to the back of her car to see if they are with her.  Although a 'Pet Nanny Service' has raised a few eyebrows amongst our friends, the service Helen offers has ensured a huge sigh of relief from us on more than one occasion, most notably when I was rushed to A & E in the middle of the night – having Helen on call meant we didn’t need to worry about Otis during a prolonged period at the hospital. Helen is always at hand and only ever a phone call away".

"Helen has looked after our Great Dane on a number of occasions and we cannot thank her enough for all her care and thoughtfulness. Helen treats Jake as her own and we always have the comfort of knowing he is in her expert hands. Our holiday dates are now based around when Helen is available to look after him!!"

"Paws In Daws started looking after Fudge when he was a puppy and they very quickly established a good relationship with each other.  Not only did Paws Nanny walk fudge part way through the day for us but also commenced puppy training with him.  Helen's invaluable service also extended to informed advice about health and nutrition.  As well as successfully training Fudge to be the well behaved and obedient dog he is today, Helen also did puppy socialisation with him; introducing him to other dogs, new experiences, vets, travelling and even traffic and high streets.  Fudge looked forward to his "nanny" days and I looked forward to hearing what he had been up to when I came home from work.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Helen/Paws In Daws to anyone".

"Helen has worked for me for several years, as a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. She has worked both in a full-time and part-time capacity. My clients find her 'Paws In Daws' services to be extremely useful and she cares for many of my clients pets at home. Clients find it has been very reassuring to call on her services as a professional nurse for emergency transport in times of crisis. Helen is also very useful when transporting pets to and from the surgery for routine appointments and also visiting clients at home when pets prove difficult to medicate. I have no hesitation in recommending Helen and her Paws In Daws services".
